State Auto's Historic Christmas Display and Life-Sized Nativity
In 1932, State Auto's founder, Bob Pein, began decorating the company's downtown Columbus, Ohio, headquarters building as a "Christmas gift to the community." From a rooftop Santa Town with thousands of lights and hundreds of Christmas trees, to the current display focused on a life-sized Nativity scene, State Auto's Christmas display is recognized around the world for its beauty and attention to artistic and historic detail.
The display will be lighted nightly beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2 through New Year's Day. Local choirs will offer free performances on weekends through Christmas. Whether you're able to visit in person or not, we hope you'll choose to visit our Christmas Corner Facebook page, which will be updated throughout the Christmas season.
From a family tradition that's continued for decades to the moment of peace as you pass by on your way to work, we appreciate hearing about your visits to our Christmas display, this year or in years past. Please share your thoughts by sending an email to Christmas@StateAuto.com.
